MTN IDENTITY THEFT

MTN has allowed a person to commit ***** by allowing him/her to open and take out a cellphone contract using my identity without my concern, and they did not even verify this with me. Their system is seriously bad and I approached them that there has been a debit order that was deducted from my account because I am a victim of identity theft, my question to MTN is that how come someone can just take out a cellphone contract with them without my knowledge and their response to me was that "Unfortunately If someone has your ID number and Bank account then they can open as many cellphone contracts online without any verification from us we do not have control of online applications" how is this even possible from such a big company? these people have no fire wall online to stop these ******** from committing ***** using my Identity. Please guys intervene and help me with resolving this issue.
