MTN, I OWE YOU NOTHING!

My MTN contact came to term in March/April of 2020 . I called the call centre at the same time and was told the cancellation department was closed. Ref No:*** (22 March 2020) My contract expiry date provided by MTN was 2020-03-22. April - May 2020 i still received my airtime and data (12th of each month). 2nd June i requested my service be switched to prepaid. It's has been a back forth with numerous messages and emails. I complained and told MTN if they sending any airtime and data for June i will not pay it and i've requested so many times that my service be migrated as i reached my contract term. LOW n BEHOLD they still sent through the top up! I messaged them to reverse as I've already informed them i wasn't going to pay it. This was reversed, not sure what date. (I have all the communication on my device) 19 June MTN advised the cancellation request was sent to the relevant department. 25 June i received an apology message and again i was advised my query is with Retentions. Ref No:***. I then got another message saying that Y'ello contract will be cancelled 06/26/2020. My incoming calls were then blocked, that matter was handled. On the 8th June 2020 i completed my last payment. On the 19 July 2020 MTN advised me there was a credit pass on my account "please advise if we can request a refund for the amount and provide banking details where the refund is to done" Kwethiwe". she also advised i send my details to customercare which I did. Now my account has been handed to Vericred, they claiming I owe then R408.01. I explained to the consultant and to date the matter was sent back to MTN. Vericred advised I email MTN Legal which I recently did. There was so much confusion relating to this matter which MTN couldn't clarify with Vericred.
