MTN HVRC repairs confusing messages and refusal to repair
I bought a cellphone ( Samsung J2) from Markham in November 2018 for R 1 200. In March 2019 the phone could not switch on and I took to Markham in Kimberley . The phone was booked to MTN HVRC repairs with reference number 215575. I received a quotation which I rejected as I was expecting the phone to repaired through warranty. The quote was surprisingly above the cost price of the phone around R 2 500. I was informed that the phone had a physical damage and I liable for repairs. I was shocked about physical damage as the phone showed no signs of physical damage and was promised proof of such damages , I am still waiting for that proof. The consultant at Markham was also shocked at that claim of physical damage as she has also no seen such signs. I have been writing to HVRC Repair centre to explain my case but they seem not to care and do not want to repair the phone. I also received an e-mail from Boipelo Phiri dated 16 April 2019 has reference "The device has been repaired, it was marked for dispatch on 2019-04-16". This confused myself and raised hopes that my phone was finally repaired. This is the 4th month now ; I want this be resolved once and for all
I have not received feed back since 23 July 2019

I have received my phone not repaired. What does not puzzle me is the return form with someones name and out of warranty is the reason for no repairing that phone. It raises suspicion that the diagnosis was not made on my phone which was not physical damaged but I was told it is physical damaged.
I will appreciate if MTN can take us (their customers ) seriously
