MTN Home Router

MTN is such a ****. As a very loyal customer I am really disappointed by MTN. I had an MTN home router for years, but due to connection issues I had to return it to MTN. On the 06 Sep 2025 I returned the router in it's original packaging with all that came with it. And I was told it would be cancelled and I'll get a confirmation message. Come month end MTN sends me a bill saying I owe them R2500. I called the customer care and I was told it's for the router I didn't return but I did return it to the store and even got the confirmation number. I am still not getting any help from the useless MTN customer care team, I am not getting any explanation as to why was I billed the 2.5

I am frustrated by this whole MTN issues and even thinking of taking the matter to higher level.
