MTN Home LTE is a ****. They advertise up to 40 mbps up and down yet 90% of the time we get <1 mbps. They selectively lower speeds during loadshedding times (not times of the day, days that there are load shedding) and claim their "servers are down due to load shedding" when in actuality most towers run on solar power in the event of a power outage. The lower the speeds they deliver the more overhead they make on line rentals as they pay per amount of bandwidth whereas customers pay a monthly subscription, thus creating a nice payday. Complete **** ISP under the guise of their name.
