MTN home internet month to month

I cancelled my MTN home internet a week before the end of the month. I retured the router with simcare and peripherals. I was forced to pay for the next month and but couldnt make use of the internet i paid for. Day light *******. Customer service rep from Mtn said i was paying for the router. It was a month to month contract so it doesnt make sense. Stay away from MTN.
