Mtn holding me ransome

I app**** for a contract online, after it was approved MTN failed to make delivery. I decide to cancel and look for a different service provider but I cannot port my number which is currently an mtn number until Mtn cancels the failed contract. Everytime I call Mtn I am fed a different story and they keep telling me that they will escalate my problem. Don't even bother with Mtn, I have never experienced such useless service. I have been with Mtn for over 12 years but I have had it with them.
