MTN HIGH VOLUME REPAIR CENTRE (HVRC)
I upgraded my cellphone on contract from a Nokia to a Samsung Tab 3 in April 2014. I had problems with the Samsung Tab and went to the Samsung Smart Centre in Brooklyn Pretoria (on visit) as well as in Pietermaritzburg because I stay in the Drakensberg. Staff from both these branches told me that there is a problem with the hardware on the Samsung Tab and that I have to send it in for repairs. This Tab is still under warranty. A Samsung Rep tried to assist me in Estcourt and were on his cell phone talking to a technical person at the repair centre and that person could not even helped him in 15 minutes that he spend on the phone. The Rep told me to send the phone the the Samsung Smart Centre or to the MTN were I bought the Tab. I went to MTN Ladysmith and handed my Tab in for repairs. Well it is 6 weeks later and I still don not have my Tab back, nor no straight answer on what is wrong with the the Tab. Email received by ladysmith branch that I have to pay R330.00 for a quotation, still don't know what is wrong with the Tab. You can't get through to the MTN HVRC or being assisted by head Office of MTN. Need a phone but refuse to give me another Tab. What do I do now?
