MTN - Help Service Does Not Exist

My MTN contract has disappeared. No voice, data, SMS. Sending and email gets the response to call their help line. The helpline starts with a menu - press 1 to inquire about a cellphone. Enter the number followed by the hash. The system reads the number and asks you to confirm by pressing 1 again. At this point you are returned to the main menu. There is no way to exit the loop.
