MTN has no heart

Hi i am a single monther that recently had to go onto debt review as i cant afford making my monthly installment i know i need to pay it as i have made the debt and by no means do i want to run away from it. Me being the person i am took a contract on my name for my brother (mistake) but i trusted him. He however got is phone account to the amount of R5000 and then just stop paying. I then went to Mtn and asked for some assistance if they could just work out a plan so that i can pay this of every month they gave me an amount of R1800 were do any normal living being get this kind of money. I then asked if they could do it over a longer period but no help at all. They gave me the boot and send me to legal department. I mean i have had my account with mtn for many years now and never have i skipped a payment even now. And 3 of my contract on the account is fully paid on the 24 months but i was told they cant cancel it due to the one phone being in arrears. I mean if you have paid the agreed period why should i still be paying. They say i have not cancelled but i have and got the same response. Just fed up cant believe that they just dont give a darn about anything.
