MTN has done the unthinkable,,,,😞

MTN has deactivated my number that I've had since 2008. No warning, no sms, just deactivated. I actively used this number, it wasn't even a dormant number. Tried calling and they said my number is being recycled. You can imagine the number of accounts I've linked to this number and now I face the risk of these accounts being compromised if someone else ends up with my number. This is by far the worst situation I've ever been in as a result from a corporate company. I am lost for words and I have no idea what I can do to get my number back.
