MTN has become the worst service provider thus far

So I decided to once again get into contract with mtn corporate division, unfortunately for me the phone i got died within its first month of use. I handed the phone in at an mtn shop as per advice received from the corporate call center agent after which i was informed that mtn will be replacing the phone and not repairing it. Its now almost 3months later and i still havent received a phone and have been sent back and forth without definite answers. And yet MTN continues debiting my account for the full amount without proving me with full service. I have since requested that the provider cancel my contract but even that seems to be a challenge as its still not done two weeks later. MY advice to consumers out there is if you are looking for a contract MTN should be the last door you knock on.
