MTN has bad customer service and you will struggle to cancel a contract which has reached its term.

MTN customer service is appalling. Please do not ever consider taking out a contract with MTN. It’s not worth it. It will be a mission when the contract term is over, they will still deduct money from you. Even if you call and cancel. I have spoken to so many agents in a term of over a month trying to cancel my contract with MTN with no assistance. The agents on the phone are also rude and every time I get a different story which further delays my contract cancellation. I have been a loyal customer, not ever once missing an installation date but now that the contract is over why must it be a mission to cancel?

I have even been sending emails to the retention department, my first email I got a response. When I sent another email to follow up on the first no response.

I am still being charged for what I do not know, and now the charges are increasing each month, how ?

Please refrain from choosing MTN as your service provider. It’s not worth it. And this is not the first time I have heard MTN services are bad and it’s a mission to cancel contracts. I have heard it from multiple people too.
