MTN hands me over to legal even though I owe them mothing.

I recently tried to take out a new MTN contract through the iStore. My application was rejected and the reason given was that one of my accounts had been handed over to legal. I checked my credit record and it is almost perfect. The iStore said I should contact MTN. MTN informed me that an old account of my that I converted to prepaid had been handed over to their legal department, even though I owe nothing on it, to protect me from *****. It is sad that a company like MTN has to go to these lengths to protect its customers from ***** by there own employees. Now I am inconvenienced as a result.
