MTN going against Consumer Protection Act

We tried to apply for month-to-month internet at different branches. Each branch had another excuse and went against what was advertised and against the Consumer Protection Act. They are asking for upfront payments, but no one can state what it is, which was not mentioned in the adverti*****t. The other branch said I need to make a new contract even tho I have been a client for years
