MTN Global Roaming does not work

I recently travelled abroad and required my global roaming to be switched on. I phoned MTN twice during the week before departing to ensure my roaming was switched on. I also dialed their *135* thing which confirmed global roaming was active.

When i landed overseas guess what happened, my mtn roaming was not working. I missed several important phone calls and more importantly, was unable to phone the SA embassy when i had issues with my VISA at the second country i visited.

In a nutshell DONT TRUST MTN!!!
