MTN giving numbers over 2 decades away
have been using my number for many years and was still using it for whatsapp when one day i left all groups and when people tried to call me some strange man answered and said it is his number. This is my primary number and all my banking notifications and app notifications go to that number. I tried calling MTN and the lady said I hadn't loaded airtime in three months so they gave my number away,I use wifi at home on that phone so i don't really need airtime. . I did the whole RICA and thought that was to ensure that my number was safe I want my number back how can I get assistance.

I wasn't aware that failing to recharge within a certain timeframe would result in losing my number. I believe it's essential to receive timely notifications about such critical actions.
