MTN GIVES THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Mtn holds hostage of customers when they want to close their accounts with them and gives hard time closing the accounts. It took months for me to be able to close my accounts with MTN after 6 years of having contracts with them. After I finally was able to close the account they claimed that my payment does not appear on their system and they listed me on the credit bureau that I have an outstanding amount. After months of to and forth communication with them, they said they are sorry the money was not allocated after I had sent them proof of payment several times. After almost a year trying to sort the issue out. When they finally said they have allocated the payment, they are failing to remove my name on the bureau and it is affecting my credit score as it’s been there for the longest time. Every time I call I’m send from pillar to post. I send emails and still I do not get assistance. They are forever sorry but no action. Their customer service is pathetic and I do not recommend it at all.
