MTN gave my prepaid nr that I used every day for 8 years away. And listen to their story. Unbelievable!

My name is Herman van Zyl and if you phone now ********** you will hear my greating...the only problem is that nr is now gone...My Prepaid nr is now blocked and belongs apparently to another company and is now a contract nr. My nr was my only number - for private use and for my business. I am loosing money daily as all my customers only know that nr and potential customers can only phone that nr. And now? Number not working as MTN gave it away. Now about their story...they told me this was from the beginning a business contract nr...for 8 years since I got it...but listen to this...the contract wasn’t in my name but in the name of the company that they gave my number to 3 days ago...they only figured out after 8 years that they have paid for a contract that I am using...give me a break. How stupid do they think I am. When I phoned 808, MTN told me I must phone this so called company and sort it out with them. MTN do not even want to tell me when did that contract started...I can tell you this...definitely not 8 years ago...more like 8 days ago. And why would I get numerous phone calls from mtn agents the past 8 years who tried to convince me that I must change my prepaid to a contract...UNBELIEVABLE...I thought according to mtn it was a contract phone from day one...If MTN has the guts they will phone me on my new MTN nr...don’t worry I was desperate to have contact with the outside world while I was sitting in Oslo Beach MTN. ********** 308 ...that is the number where theycan get hold of me for now as they gave my number ********** 428 away. They can email me at ********** or most probably theywill just ignore this complaint as they ignored mycry for help when I phoned their useless customer care line...
