MTN Frustrating Accounting
MTN continue to frustrate and irritate.......(and I've just lost the review I wrote so here goes again). After numerous dealings with various customer service reps, (never the same one because you always get different people replying to emails or answering the phone), it is now a year since my problem started and still no resolution to my satisfaction. And MTN actually agree that they owe me money, in their round about way, without actually agreeing they do! I mean "you owed R248, you paid R248 so you owe R248" - that's such bad accounting logic, how can I argue?! (And I actually paid R496). As I said in my last post I'm porting to Telkom when it's convenient for me to waste my time. And I still haven't had any feedback from my direct communication with the Financial Director. But, hey, as long as the huge MTN keeps giving its Directors good dividends I guess they can sweep bad service under the carpet.......and clearly they don't care about loyal customers or the vast number of complaints recorded here alone on Hello Peter. Such appalling service.........years ago I had a complaint and the MD's Secretary phoned me and sorted out the problem after I'd written a letter to the MD.....now that's service. But not anymore. But at least I can get it off my chest here and commiserate with all those other MTN customers who get nowhere.
