MTN Free 30Gb Data Promotion not so FREE

<p>MTN thought they did me a favour by giving me 30Gb free data. I exceeded this by 7Gb and now sit with a R5000.00 cellphone bill.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked for "good faith" discount as I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years with 2 contracts.</p> <p>The reply:" Sorry you can pay it over 3 months". Where does one fork out R2k a month?</p> <p> </p> <p>How does a 10GB data bundle cost under R1000 yet they see it fit to charge more than 5 times that for out of bundle data?</p> <p> </p> <p>Sorry to say, I will be looking for a new service provider once my contracts run out as I've seen multiple threads showing other providers assisting their customers. </p> <p> </p>
