MTN ********** contract & poor response to ***** case

A contract was **********ly taken with my account details through MTN. I contacted MTN to have this resolved, they advised that I get an affidavit and certified ID. All of required documents were submitted to MTN more than 21 days ago without any feedback after being told it will take 21 days to resolve. When I call to query, I am told that it was a ***** case and they have no other information.

My personal information was violated by MTN's pathetic security system, I get harassed continuously by debt collectors and this affects my credit score negatively by reflecting that I have an account in arrears. I've been sending numerous emails to the MTN ***** department, complaints department, customer care as well as Thobeka Chonco.

My personal information was allowed to be misused by MTN & in doing so, my credit score has been negatively affected which is now affecting my interest rates and future purchases.
