MTN ********** Actions and Bad service

MTN is targeting old people making it impossible to get out of a contract when the contract expires. My father is deaf and can't hear over the phone but he was harassed by MTN and his son who tried to assist was not allowed to assist him over the phone. My parent lost a lot of money because MTN leaked their personal information to hackers. How do they get away with it? Does the POPIA act not apply for MTN? This was and still is a terrible experience to try and sort issues out with MTN. It is basically impossible. To me this looks like *****.
