Mtn - ********** & *******, contract not binding

Firstly my spouse cancelled her MTN contract. For 3 months they continued debiting her account until we complained. Then in 2015 someone authorized a sim swap without my consent resulting in me closing all bank accounts as presumed it was *****. For 2 years Mtn stole my money from my account in charging me for BIS and still haven't credited my account along with other hardware charges. Then I upgraded my contract end Jan 2016 and still getting charged for other items other than what I signed for. I have had numerous phone calls along with 2 visits to Mtn head office in 14th Avenue whereby Senlot and Siphilelele confirmed all was sorted which is not even close. I have asked for a manager on both visits whereby I get fogged off to one of his minions. It is a loosing battle as no one has a clue how to resolve these issues and in the interim I am paying the debit orders.

Hello ronaldharv,

Thank you for your post.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

Kindly be advised that the credit has been passed for the BIS charges for 24 months.

The hard ware fee charge was valid until March 2016. The hard ware fee service has been removed and no charges on the April invoice.

Regarding the sim swap done on the account the system reflect that the sim swap has been done to the account 21-7-2015. Our ***** department will require the affidavit and certified ID copy to investigate the sim ***** done on the account. Please send to me the affidavit and ID copy to *** for the ***** department to investigate.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
