MTN FOUNTAINS MALL A DISASTER

I would just like to share that we have experienced the worst service from MTN fountains mall. I have worked in the cellular industry and i fully understand how a port works- i am NOT stupi and do not take lightly to the manager making a fool of me. When a port was accepted and upon not getring contacted, we had been in on numerous occassions to enquire. Yesterday, they entered the mtn sim number on their systems, awaiting Vodacom to hand the number over to mtn. Now, i know a port can go through at any stage and they REFUSED point blank to issue the phone or sim until the port was "active" on their side. Later we received a text saying port was successful. We then called Andrew to check if we can collect and were told "no". He will contact us when we can collect as he will follow up. Voila, a few hours later we had no service-granted Vodacom had disconnected the number. Now, we were told we would get contacted-how can they contact us if the line is disconnected?? We are now at MTN waiting for almost an hour. Upon walking in the consultants said "they havent checked yet if the port has gone through". Now,Andrew, the supposed manager is off today, well so is Wynands service. Why did he not ask the other consultants to follow up on the port? In fact, why did we not get ISSUED with mtn sim yesterday when the port was submitted. At Autopage, i knew to give a client their new sim as soon as port was submitted so that if the client was travelling - such in the case of Wynand- that he could simply swop sim cards as soon as the one was disconnected. Now, with the port being fully active, it is a case of just ringing up their sim number and device IMEI on their darned POS. We have signed- why can they not just excuse themself from a client they have been busy with for almost an hour to just issue us with the phone and sim-it takes 2 minutes. Now we have to wait in frustration because Wynand has NO service. I have to say the only reason we ported to MTN was due to a good deal. However, that being sid, I will not come back for service. The manager is so slack that he will leave a travelling businessmans port unattended to. NOT IMPRESSED
