MTN FORCES CUSTOMER TO PAY FOR ********** ACCOUNT

On the 20th October 2014, someone took out 2 cellphone contracts in my name from MTN. I became aware of this when R14000 went off my account. I managed to reverse the debit order in time. I reported the matter to MTN and spoke to Randall Daniels who blocked the lines. This was the last I heard from him.

MTN asked me to do an affidavit and also send them a copy of my ID so they could investigate, which I did. This was on the 30th December 2014. I have since been asked by three different people to send them the same documents, which I did. The next call I got was from Shapiro Shaik Devries that I owed MTN R61000. When I checked with Experian I had already been blacklisted by MTN. NO ONE from MTN ever got back to me to provide evidence of where I signed the contract, what payslip was used to open the account, they even have the wrong residential address which proves the person didn't even have proof of residence when they opened these accounts. Based on what evidence then does MTN insist I pay and blacklist me?

I have spoken to at least 7 people on this matter. Their ***** line *** is not working and their staff have not responded to my mails 4 months later. REQ ***
