MTN Faulty phone
<p>I bought a samsung galaxy s7 edge on contract from the MTN online shop. It was delivered to my door no problems at all. I have had the phone for less than 3 months and the screen just stopped working. It has never been dropped, no water damage, the phone is literally brand new without a scratch on it. I contacted MTN to report the faulty phone. The lady told me to take it to the nearest repair center which is over 100km from where i stay. How do you expect me to drive 100km to repair a phone that is clearly a manufacturers fault? I do not want this phone repaired only to have stop working at a later stage, Seeing as i am paying a monthly fee on this device, i cannot be paying for a device that is not working or in for repairs. i would prefer it be collected same as it was delivered and a new phone delivered to me. </p>

• Should there be a fault with the device, the technician assesses if the fault is genuine or not
• That the handset being returned has not be damaged in any way or form
