MTN false advertising

I have just seen an adverti*****t on DSTV saying that you can cancel a cell phone contract with MTN at any time. This is absolutely not true. My friend had a major stroke. He had tried to cancel his contract to no avail and MTN kept taking debit order payments. Out of desperation he gave up trying. I offered to help. It took 8 phone calls of at least 45 minutes each. Little assistance and got sent on a trip to an outlet who said they were a franchise and were also very sorry..... Eventually, I spoke to a person who seemed to like his job and sorted out the problem. The whole experience was atrocious.
