MTN - false advertising

I went in for an upgrade on my contract today. The update went through successfully, but the package advertised, was not what went through on the upgrade. The contract advertised 2GB of data, the update that went through was 500MB. I was informed that because I have not been updated over to their new system, they could not load the update with the package that was advertised. This is false advertising. The consultant advised me that she does not know when we will be loaded on the new system. Which means that even if I upgrade, I will receive old packages, and pay the new price, and not get what is advertised. Absolutely horrified...and now I have to wait until tomorrow, for manager to cancel the upgrade, as no-one in store had the authority. I have been an MTN customer for a number of years...clearly we are reaching the end of that relationship....if you cannot deliver what you advertise, that is false advertising.
