MTN FAILS TO WHITELIST MY PHONE

On 16 Feb 2016, my phone was ****** from my vehicle. I immediately contacted MTN call centre, blocked my SIM and blacklisted the phone. On 17 Feb 2016, I did a SIM swap and Canal Walk branch in Cape Town.
My phone was recovered on 25th Feb. On Saturday 27 Feb, I contacted MTN and asked for handset to be whitelisted. I was told it would take 24hours.
On Sunday, the phone was still registering \NO SERVICE\" so I contacted the Call centre again, and was told that whitelisting took 7 days and I must wait until the following Saturday for it to be functional.
I turned it on on the Friday, 4 March to check and it was still registering \"NO SERVICE\" ,so i took it into Canal Walk MTN store and sat with an agent who said he had whitelisted it and I must keep it off until Monday, 7 March.
I turned the phone on this morning (today is 7 March) and it is still registering as \"NO SERVICE\". I contacted the call centre again, to be told the systems are offline. I was also told whitelisting takes less than 2 hours. I'm sick of the run around and poor service. It is unacceptable and I would like a) a straight answer and b) for my phone to be whitelisted. Seriously pathetic service. "
