MTN fails to take responsibility for their error
Dudu Thabethe blacklisted my handset in error when I called to query the UN blacklisting. She apologised for her mistake saying she misunderstood. She PROMISED that she had reversed her mistake immediately. That was 15 December 2015. Now one week later the phone has to be unblacklisted again which takes another 72 hours. MTN call centre Palesa told me yesterday it takes 2 - 24 hours. MTN KINDLY TRAIN YOUR STAFF. AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO BE ACCOUNTABLE AND TRUTHFUL. Mistakes happen but do not tell the customer that the mistake has been corrected when it has not and leave them to discover the situation days later!! This is completely unacceptable.
