MTN fails to clear my name from credit bureaus

I had reported a ********** account with MTN 5 months ago and they did close the ********** account opened in my name. However, when I went to a certain bank to apply for a credit card I was told that there is an MTN account that I haven't paid hence I would not be allowed a credit card. THE CREDIT OMBUDSMAN still has me listed for the MTN account and MTN still has not cleared my name after my numerous calls. The MTN call centre takes its time to attend to your grievances and makes you hold for long minutes on end. Unfortunately, even now my name is still not cleared, I cannot apply for a credit card which means that MTN has not followed the right procedures to close the account and take my name out of the credit bureaus as owing. This is truly unacceptable and disheartening.
