MTN Fails in Customer Care

Hi, I've been an MTN customer for 25 years. On Black Friday last year I went into the local MTN outlet in Sabie (Mobile Solutions) to try and get one of the advertised LTE wifi deals. After a long rigmarole of filling in forms and providing bank statements etc. I was informed by the agent that I did not qualify for the deal because my data was still captured on the old "helios" system. The deals only app**** to clients on the new "ilula" data base. I was told that old clients details were being migrated in batches to the new data base. No one at MTN can tell me when my details will be migrated. 9 months later and umpteen phone calls later, I'm still no better off. I pay 4X more for my LTE data than a brand new client who walks in off the street and signs up. Is this how MTN treats its loyal long standing customers?? ? Surely management should speed up the data migration process by assigning more people to the task!? Surely it should be a case of the longest standing customers first!? The MTN agents in the call centre are also frustrated. MTN you're making your so called "service champions" look like palookas because they can't help clients with this problem. Disgruntled and dissatisfied, loyal client. Philip Robson
