MTN fails again

In July 2016 I purchased a cell phone at the Edgar's active store in the workshop. It was an AG chaser device.

In December 2016 the touch pad was faulty and was taken back into store as it was under warranty and they sent the phone in for repairs.

In January on the 18th went back in to query the repair and the store associate called MTN who advised " awaiting exchange , to call back the following week."

In February on the 17th I went back into the Edgar's active store and once again they called MtN who then advised they are awaiting stock of the device. By this point I Wa so angry I asked for the CEO's number, which they gave me. I bought airtime to the value of R150.00 when calling the number I was refused access to speak to Mr Nyati...why give me the number if I can't phone to log my complaint ?

I called MTN service repairs on ********** 564 I held on for about 30 minutes and eventually spoke to somebody who asked me to hold on again. The wait was for another 30 minutes. When she returned, I asked for a supervisor which I was declined as the supervisor was too busy and asked to call me back. No guessing whether he called me back or not . He didn't!

March 2017 on the 01st I went back to the store and the MTN was called again. This time they advised that AG mobile had closed down and MTN was still "deciding" what to do. Please note this is now 3 months later.

They didn't give me a response time as to when I can get my device back. AG mobile closing should not be made my problem .

The consultant was absolutely rude and offered no solution or turn around time. I'm so disgusted that some a huge corporation can be so nonchalant about servicing their clients

this is ridiculous. Be warned. And refrain from signing up with MtN or purchasing their devices
