MTN F_R_A_U_D-ulent account was not closed after investigation and now I have been handed over again.

Yesterday 18/11/2025 I received an SMS from a debt collects stating that my MTN account was in arrears and I need to address it to not be handed over.

I have never held and MTN account.

In October of 2024 a F_R_A_U_D_ulent MTN contract was taken out in my name, I was handed over by MTN to debt collectors which destroyed my credit and employability.

In late March of 2025 I logged investigation with MTN, MTN proved it was a F_R_A_U_D_ulent transaction. MTN sent me a victim letter which states stating that:

"MTN confirms that the collection file was closed with our external debt collects and where necessary, informed Trans Union to update your ITC profile, it will take 21 days for clearance to occur."

This took very long and MTN's help was terrible.

Coming to 18 November 2025 upon receiving the SMS form the debt collectors I went to Northgate MTN and spoke to staff who tried to assist me.

The shop assistant upon looking for my case using my ID, came up to my F_R_A_U_D_ulent account but saw said to me, the case/ticket was NOT ACTUALLY CLOSED. That even though it was marked as F_R_A_U_D_ulent in big red banners, stating *****ulent, it was open.

Subsequently, I was handed over to the law firm Hammond Pole on 02/10/2025. Note the obvious RED banner which surrounds the account details screen highlighting it to be F_R_A_U_D.

This absolutely should not be happening, there has been an complete process breakdown at MTN that this has happened again on an already investigated and supposed closed matter.

This hand over has caused such a disruption in my life, it affected my employability where on MIE reports recruiters, upon seeing "handed over" will no longer liaise with me, my credit was demolished from being near perfect.

I'm at a complete loss for this situation.
