MTN ******ion of the elderly!

This email is compiled on behalf of my elderly mother, (date of birth 1946-12-06), who is the account holder on this contract. She received a telephone call on 09 December 2021, offering a 2nd data deal on her contract (this included a Mecer Guru Notebook). She numerously said hat she do no want this as she does not have use for a laptop/notebook. This Notebook was eventually delivered to her via DSV Couriers. As she did not konw what to do with it, she accepted the delivery. She now has the laptop she does not want or cannot use and an additional R482 on her contract that she cannot afford. You will notice that the sim card with number ***) was not RICA or activated yet. Please cancel this deal immediately and advise where the laptop/notebook can be returned. I only became aware of this a few days ago. Your urgent response will be appreciated. WE HAVE RETUNED THE LAPTOP TO THE MENLYN BRANCH, BUT NOW RECEIVED THE SMS TO SAY THAT THE COMPLAINT IS NOT VALID!!
