MTN - erroneous black listing

I am a Vodacom client and I bought an iPhone 12 in January. Today I found out that MTN has black listed my device. I have no signal and no network service. I can’t work, I can’t receive calls or sms’s. I understand to block a device a MTN registered number should be linked to the device and this is not the case. How do you just black list a device that isn’t even from your service provider. I’m shocked
