MTN/EDGARS/BLACKBERRY FREEZE JUMP WARRANTY??

I took my phone to MTN Eastgate Mall more than a month ago as it is on warranty. The BLACKBERRY 9720 freezes, jumps uncontrollably and switches off on its own!!! IT WAS confirmed that the phone is on WARRANTY and it will thus be fixed accordingly (FOR FREE).

I went to the store the day before yesterday to get an update and the consultant told me that I have to bring the box with the IMEI number on it because they have a replacement blackberry for me because they could fix my own one. I was pleased yet sad because that meant that I had lost all my personal info on my phone.

However when I went there today with the IMEI number/box they said that my blackberry is beyond repair and that repairing it will cost me R5500 BUT the blackberry 9720 is less than R2500 how the HELL???!! Anyways they then said that I will NOT get MY ‘still problematic’ phone back until I pay R350 because they (MTN) LOOKED at it????! So I’m sitting without a phone and need to pay R350 just to get my unfixed problematic phone back (A BILL FOR WHAT???!!!). Firstly, (!!!) I took my phone in because it’s UNDER WARRANTY (a promise to fix or replace (if it can’t be fixed) the phone FOR FREE if there’s no water damage or self-inflicted DAMAGES (I UNDERSTAND)!!! THERE WAS NEVER WATER DAMAGE AND IT NEVER HAD SELF INFLICTED DAMAGES!!! SO WHAT DOES YOUR WARRANTY COVER IF NOT BLACKBERRY MANUFACTURING ISSUES? WHY AM I THE ONE THAT ARE AFFECTED NEGATIVELY! I’m so ANGRY right now!!! The mere fact that I have to sit here and waste my time because of money making UNRELIABLE AND UNTRUSTABLE cell phone shops!!!

I want my phone WHICH I PAID FOR to be fixed OR replaced!!! I’m not asking anyone in THIS WORLD FOR A FAVOUR!!! IM ASKING YOU TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE YOU ARE SELLING AND FOR WHICH I PAID FOR (MY CELL). I need for someone from MTN/BLACKBERRY/EDGARDS to get back to me ASAP!!!! This is ****************!!! Don’t ***** from HARDWORKING INDIVIDUALS that supported your businesses!!!
