MTN drops the ball big time
I signed a 24 month contract with MTN in May 2015 and felt very positive when my wireless router and sim was delivered quickly. The first shock was when over R2000 was debited off my account end of June without any explanation or forewarning whatsoever. (The amount that I was expecting to go off was under R200 x 24 months). After being unable to get hold of anybody at MTN in order to find out what is going on via telephone or e-mail I was told about the strike. After not being able to get hold of MTN for weeks I reversed the debit that was made on my account.

I cancelled my contract with them on July 15th and asked them to collect the router and sim at my office in Bryanston due to breach of contract and no service whatsoever. (During July my data was cut as well)

MTN again debited over R2000 off my account end of July even after I cancelled my contract. I e-mailed them again and queried the debit order. Up to today no explanation or reply has been received. No large debit orders were ever discussed/mentioned when I signed. Again I reversed the debit order and reminded MTN that the router and sim is waiting to be collected as communicated to them via e-mail.
