This is my experience with MTN. On the 15th of July 2015 my account was double deducted. On the 17th I made a phone call to MTN querying this where I was told that this was a national problem for all customers debiting on the 15th. I then waited until the next Friday to make a follow-up. Where I was told that everything would be sorted out. 2 weeks later I reversed the payment at my bank. After this I made a phone call to MTN informing MTH of the action I made. The call centre the advised me to just EFT the outstanding amount to MTN, which I did. I even received a sms from MTN thanking me for payment received. Everything should now be fine because I received my money and MTN theirs, but this is not the case.
Today I receive a SMS from MTN say that my facility has been suspended, and that I need to pay R663.88. I'm am unable to make any phone calls. I am so upset by this that I will after the end of my contract never do any business with MTN. I cannot believe that after numerous phone calls with MTN, and empty MTN promises from staff that they can't sort out something simple as this.
