MTN Don't honour warrantees on phones unless you have the delivery receipt.

5 month old iPhone 8 stopped working. So I took it to the MTN Store Campus Square today. They pick up my details and can see the phone is still under warrantee but can't help me without the delivery receipt for the device. So I phoned MTN Direct and spoke to sales . They can't help me and said I need to phone the courier company who delivered the phone and ask them for a copy.... So now I'm stuck without one phone.... I have 2 contracts with MTN and will definitely not renew any of them with MTN. This is a warning: If you take a new contract or upgrade out with MTN don't expect them to honour warrantees unless you are willing to keep all paperwork for the 2 years...
