MTN doesn't care

We have retired and now live permanently at The Willows Resort & Conference Centre in Port Elizabeth where MTN and Vodacom have masts. We watch TV through a TV Box and a Router and get (or rather "meant to get") an uncapped (1 terabyte) LTE signal which is fixed to the MTN tower which is a couple of hundred metres away from us. We are often without signal for days on end (and even weeks) and completing MTN's "Network Coverage Query" (which is the first thing that they ask for) only elicits an automated response that they will try to resolve the problem. After all this frustration and with no response, I am beginning to think that they are data shedding but, unlike Eskom, they don't even bother to tell their customers when these blackouts are to occur and for how many days we will be without a signal. Fortunately I have Vodacom data on my phone so that I am not totally cut off. I see that they are making massive profits but this is understandable if they take their customer's money and give no service or signal in return.
