MTN does not provide service
On Thursday 31 November I went to MTN after I have shopped around at all the other networks to find the best deal. I signed a contract and everything was approved. It took over an hour in the shop to get this done. I then asked them to have my old number. The one agent told me at least four times that it takes between 2 and 72 hours to get your number. Everyday when I contacted them they told me the same thing. This morning when I went there my phone was still not ready as the number has not been swaped. Now they tell me I have to wait again because now they want to log a call to their call centre.
I have never experienced such bad service in my life. I have been without a phone now for over a week.
Is it that MTN has to purchase the number from Vodacom that they try to manipulate you to take another number or what is the problem. And let me tell you something else. This is the second time that this has happened. The previous time I told them to just give me a new number because I cant wait any longer to have my number.
MTN is putting me in an unsafe situation where I do not have a phone to contact anybody in need.
