MTN does not care about their customers

I went to upgrade my phone on 15 June 2015 and was told that they were out of stock. As MTN are striking I was told that it might take a while to get my phone delivered. After pushing for a date, I was told it would take about 10 days. No one contacted me to tell me that I should expect further delays, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. Over 10 days later I had to phone them to follow up. They told me that I could expect my phone in another 10 days time. I asked if there was anything they could do to speed up the process. (Surely?!) They said that there is nothing they could do. Zero attempts were made to get my phone to me timeously. The fact that MTN staff are striking should not affect their customers. They need to put alternative measures in place to ensure their clients receive a quality service. 16 days later I am still waiting.
