MTN does not care

Be warned. Never in my life have I been this badly treated. Had an contract upgrade but was sent a store demo phone. 5 weeks later and still no correction. But that is the good part of my review. As per the store they asked for everything including the sim card. Nothing odd so far. They needed to cancel the upgrade and re-issue everything. 7 days later still we had no reference number, and they only text from MTN was that the the phones data was done. (After 6days of the month). Did not think much about it until when I got to the store and asked about the phone. That’s when things got ugly. After a while they finally located the phone but the SIM card was missing. I did kick up a little hell about the missing SIM card, and suddenly it came out of one of the employees phone. There explanation. We had to test it. Now it’s the phone that’s the issue and they had no need to use the sim card. Bigger problem when they have me the sim card it was a micro and the Samsung s10 uses a nano.

So in the end I called MTN head office and Porsche (not sure of her name spelling) made it clear that it’s our fault that MTN send the wrong phone and that it. We have to drive 50km to another store where they will send it in for us and then another 50 km in two or so weeks to pick up the phone.

But I guess it’s okay for MTN, since we have to pay a contract and had to buy extra data so they get their money in the end.

Be warned.... MTN does not care that’s clear, but MTN highveld mall in witbank will gladly ***** from you. I will glad with drew this review if highveld mall MTN proves they sent us a reference number for the pick up.

Pathetic. That’s all I would say about them. Understand I’m still very mad. Make your own choices. But just be careful when dealing with them.
