Mtn does not cancel contracts.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would because nje wow.

I opened my mtn contract in 2020 at the store in Maponya Mall and it was ending on May 2022. On April I called requesting for cancelation and they advised me it will be terminated on May. May passed, I called again and they said on June... Still nothing. I called.. And bear in mind. They still billing me during these months. I kept calling and they keep telling me they will terminate and instead of assisting you the agents hang up the phone on me. I don't think mtn management is involved in how these agents assist us. Some will tell you their systems gives a problem when it's knock off time and they hang up. Some eat while on a call with you. Some converse with their friends during the call I mean... Whole system flawed nje. But I need my contract canceled right. So I kept calling. On July 21st I went to the store at Carlton center, the guy working there told me they do not do cancelation at the store I had to call. Firat call they transferred me to cancelation and they hung up on me. I had to call again. And the agent on the line was Sibongile Mnguni, who then transferred me to Jenel Naidoo. Spent over 10 min on a call thinking that she'd assist me instead she told me that she'll escalate a case and I should stay on the line, minutes late she hung up also. No reference number. No call back. Nothing! And my number still on contract to date. And they still billing my account. I honestly don't know how to deal with mtn. But I just want my number canceled from contract so I can port to a different provider. I've had enough of this very poor service. And I feel like I'm being lenient on this review.
