MTN Does not Cancel but Continues to INVOICES when you pay cancellation

I have been trying to cancel 2 contracts with MTN for the past 3 months of which after discussing the cancellations fees and paying them the cancellations amounts are being app**** to the invoice and not cancellation. Sending emails and calling MTN does not help.
