<p>like a lot of people complaining about MTN on here, i also received SMSes informing me that I had been automatically subscribed to MTN play (AirG and Harvest Frenzy), that I was being charged every day for these unsolicited services and would need to unsubscribe if I wanted the to stop.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want MTN to:</p> <p>a: ensure I am I unsubsrcibed and not charged for any of those services.</p> <p>b: acknowledged that negative opt-ins are ******* and are in contravention of the consumer protection act.</p> <p>c: acknowledge that they are trying to take advantage of people and ***** money from them, targeting the uneducated and elderly who don't know how these types of subscriptions work. You are taking advantage of people by running these types of ****! Having the cheek to charge people data/air time to opt out just makes what you are doing even more disgusting.</p> <p> </p> <p>What you are doing is ******* and ********* and despite so many complaints you keep doing it, why? clearly you make so much money from ***** activity that being a trusted, loved and respected brand just does not matter... You just don't care about customers and their rights.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been on an expensive contract with you for years and am definitely going to switch!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
