MTN disservice
I open an MTN account in 2003 and have had the same number all along. All during this period the account was paid via a debit order. In September 2019 I transferred this account to my company's account. In March 2021 I receive a lawyers letter regarding an outstanding amount from MTN , R1700.00. The phone was never disconnected at all during the so called non-payment period. I tried contacting MTN for details, but this proved a waste of time. I paid the amount and got a settlement letter. Through my company I app**** for HP finance for a truck. I was told I was blacklisted and could not get finance. I have tried for two months to get this resolved between MTN and the credit bureau MTN used. Well again a pointless exercise, each party points finger at the other and nobody is willing to resolve this issue. MTN does not understand customer service. You receive emails from their legal department without contact details in the signature. The call center is just a gate keeper to protect the members of staff that make the decisions. Shocking service as soon as all the contract in the company expire i will be moving to Vadacom.
