MTN - dismisses best employee, but WHY
if minus stars where available would have chosen it (rating). I have been a client of MTN for the last over 20 years, in this time i had lots of consultants help me with my upgrades, until i was helped by Sthe Masengeni from the client center in Pietermaritzburg (opposite Game store Liberty Midlands Mall), there after she was my "go-to" consultant. She was totally client centered, i have never had issues with any of my upgrades. She always kept me informed of progress on upgrades being carried out for me, whether stock of handsets where available, and if not she would order it or get it from another branch of MTN. I was shocked to find out that she was dismissed, yet on MTN's black Friday promotion she was the busiest consultant, clients where queing to have Sthe help them (i was at that branch and at 1 time there where 10 clients waiting for her). The first time i saw the manager of MTN client center was on Black Friday, (i dont know where he hides on a normal day), but from observation he was "hounding" Sthe (i know this cos i was sitting at her workspace - but also noticed this when i was waiting for Sthe) its like he singled her out to fault her work. I am sure if MTN collects testimonials on Sthe Masengeni, they will get a considerable amount, and they will all favor her. I was assigned another consultant ( she failed immediately, although she gave me her direct cell number, upon calling it multiple times there was no response, had to message her for a response - TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE". I wonder why was Sthe dismissed, was she dismissed for her professionalism and dedication to her job, did the other staff (including the manager feel inadequate when compared to her). I think MTN has to investigate this matter, as i think its unfair to dismiss someone for doing their job too well.
